Shocka

Kenneth Erhahon, most commonly known as Shocka became the final member of Marvell in 2008. Growing up in  Broadwater Farm, Tottenham, North London, Shocka was surrounded by aspiring artists from a very young age. Being surrounded by musicians such as Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Scorcher; Shocka soon realised that music was his getaway from the crazy enviromnent he grew up in. Shocka began his music pathway by teaming with a fellow MC named ‘Solo45′ and soon bounced off into a group well known in his area, Chain Gang. CG consisted of artists such as Wizz, Tips and caps. He then left and started his solo project ‘Beast on the Lose’ with record label Alwayz Recording, which at the time was the same record label of Marvell. Vertex, the founder of Marvell was looking for a third member of his crew and found the perfect MC when he got the call to design a cover for Shocka’s mixtape. When listening to the mixtape, Vertex was astounded by Shocka’s vibrant metaphors and decided to offer Shocka a permanent place as Marvell’s final member. Shocka also had ties with Marvell member, Double S.

Shocka: “What the mind can conceive, the mind can achieve. Without the fans, I can’t breathe. You lot switched my life
around, I think I owe you back”. Shocka aims to take Marvell Music into the history books along with Marvell Clothing. He has also had a life long dream to star in his own tv show and movies.
